The Avondale Chandelier is illuminated by 60watt medium base A19 light bulbs in each 6W x 9"H shade. The 42" bottom is illuminated by 8 60wt medium base A19 light bulbs. The 21" top is illuminated by 8 60wt candleabra base light bulbs. All the light is diffused softly through natural amber mica to emit a warm glow. The light emits upward in an undiffused fashion. "
